Make a difference in your community…
Volunteer at the Dispute Resolution Center!

Volunteer Mediators
Skilled volunteer mediators are valuable resources to our community. Individuals who offer their time and talent as mediators find it a rewarding investment as they make a difference in people’s lives. We provide professional development and ongoing training, staff mentoring, and challenging opportunities for growth. You gain new skills that improve your personal and professional communication skills. See the Mediator Credentialing link for more information.

College Internships Available
Contact the Training Manager at 360-698-0968 for more information.

Intake Specialists (Volunteer Position)
We currently have openings in the Community Mediation office. Volunteers are needed to answer incoming calls from prospective clients and explain the services offered by the Dispute Resolution Center. This is a great opportunity to learn what mediation is about. Mediation experience is not required: A 12-hour training in conflict resolution and effective communication techniques is provided free of charge. Time commitment is 4 hours a week.

"Behind-the-Scenes" DRC Angel (Volunteer Position)
If you have a skill or talent not listed above and are interested in volunteering at the DRC, we would love to have your help. We need all kinds of office help: stuffing envelopes, updating statistics, redesigning brochures, newsletter preparation, etc. We are a growing organization, and need volunteers from the community to continue to keep our fees affordable to all.

Call us at 360.698.0968 or Contact Us here to discuss how you might contribute to the DRC and to your community through volunteering.
