2008 Training Calendar Announced

Scheduled training events for 2008 are available at this link.

Becoming a Love and Logic Parent

The best lessons in life come from the good -- and bad -- choices we make.  Becoming a Love and Logic Parent is a practical, straightforward method of parenting backed by over 20 years of research.  Parents learn how to use humor, hope, and empathy to help their children learn from their mistakes and solve problems on their own.  Parents who implement the Love and Logic strategies usually see results after the first couple classes.

Parents will see immediate results beginning the first session of this seven week course. They will learn to listen and understand their children, gain cooperation without yelling or nagging, and help their children create a positive self-image.

Strategies taught:

  • Guiding children to solve their own problems
  • Ending arguments with a smile
  • Engaging children's willing cooperation
  • Making kids responsible for their own actions
  • And much, much more

Course Runs: April 22 through June 3, 2008
Cost: $80 per person, $120 per couple
Time: 6 pm to 8 pm
(Limited scholarships for DSHS or low income – call 360-307-6155 for details)
