How to Talk So Kids Will Listen
& Listen So Kids Will Talk

Based on the award-winning book by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish, this workshop will help parents discover effective ways to communicate with their children at every age. Parents will see immediate results as they learn to listen and understand their children, gain cooperation without yelling or nagging, and help their children create a positive self-image.

Strategies taught:

  • Coping with children's negative feelings
  • Express anger without being hurtful
  • Engage children's willing cooperation
  • Set firm limits, expectations, & establish household rules everyone can agree with

Next Class Begins: June 24, 2008
Cost: $80 per person/$120 per couple
Time: 6 pm to 8 pm
