2008 Training Calendar Announced

Scheduled training events for 2008 are available at this link.

About Us

The Dispute Resolution Center (DRC) of Kitsap County began in 1990 when a group of professional mediators, attorneys, and educators formed a small agency to help neighbors solve disputes peacefully and out-of-court. Since that time, we've grown into a major community service agency with services all across Kitsap County. We help clients in schools, at the Kitsap Juvenile Center, Small Claims Court, mental health centers, and many other community settings.

Our administrative offices are located in Old Town Silverdale and we have two mediation offices on Bainbridge Island. We are one of 19 DRCs operating under Washington’s community dispute resolution statute.

Since our first mediation in 1991, we've trained dozens of professional mediators and helped thousands of people from all economic backgrounds solve business, community and family problems that could otherwise lead to expensive lawsuits.

The DRC receives considerable support from United Way of Kitsap County and Bainbridge Island One Call for All. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we also receive funding from county contracts, training fees, and individual donors.

For further information about mediation or our many training programs, please call us in Kitsap at 360.698.0968, on Bainbridge at 206.842.3215, or toll free 1.800.37.SOLVE (1.800.337.6583).
